Food halls have become SO popular here in Houston, and new ones keep popping up all over town! The food is absolutely high quality – the current number one restaurant in Houston, rated by the Houston Chronicle, is in a food hall (Golfstrommen). And the food halls are very kid-friendly!

The newest kid on the block is Lyric Market. Located in the heart of the Theater District, Lyric is sure to become extremely popular with symphony, ballet, opera, and theater-goers! Lyric is open both weekdays and weekends and currently hosts 9 restaurants as well as the Rhapsody Bar.

POST stirred up a ton of interest when it opened in 2021 – well-deserved! Set in the former Houston USPS headquarters building, POST re-imagined the space and turned it into an awesome venue. POST houses 24 restaurants and shops, as well as the very cool Skylawn rooftop space and the 713 Music Hall, a concert venue. POST is also home to Golfstrommen, the number 1 rated restaurant in town this year.

Finn Hall is a weekday favorite for many downtown, but it is also open on Saturdays! Very approachable, this venue has 8 restaurants. The space is a very cool, Art Deco design.

Bravery Chef Hall is a chef-driven food hall with 6 restaurants, and all locally-owned. It is right across from Market Square Park, a great central location.

- Thursday: 11am – 10pm
- Friday-Saturday: 11am – 11pm

Railway Heights Market in the Heights is huge, with 12 restaurants and 19 stores. It has outdoor space as well, and frequently hosts events. The different vendors appear to set their own opening hours, and for the most vendors, you may want to visit on a weekend and not a weekday.
