Every month, I highlight a few family-friendly happenings you may want to mark on your calendar! Sometimes these will be events that you need tickets to or RSVP for – in which case, in advance is always better. So, here’s 5 fun things I am excited about for October!

October is such a fun month and we have so much to do here in Houston with kids in October! Here are a few great ones:
🐷 Peppa Pig Sing-Along Party at Smart Financial Center in Sugar Land – October 7 – 2pm. Highly recommend booking tickets in advance.
🎃Pumpkin Carving with Goats at Rose Therapeutic Farm – Saturdays in October – an event meant for adults and kiddos to do together! First meet the cute farm animals, then parents and kiddos will work together to carve their pumpkins with the help of the farm goats. Tickets highly recommended in advance.
🩰 Cinderella at Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theater – October 13-15 – Ballet performances of Cinderella, with an optional tea party add-on: enjoy a tea plus a magic wand craft and photos with Cinderella! Tickets highly recommended in advance.
🍭 Halloween at the BOOseum Children’s Museum Houston – October 10-October 31. Daily trick or treating (Tues-Fri 4-6pm, Thurs 4-8pm, all day Sat & Sun), October 28 Monster Bash! Included with general admission.
👻 Halloween Spooktacular for Kids at Houston Symphony – October 28 – 10am and 11:30am – Jones Hall will transform into a ghostly sight as an orchestra full of costumed musicians performs spooktacular tunes from Harry Potter, Coco, and more. Lobby activities include trick-or-treating and an Instrument Petting Zoo! Wear your costumes! Tickets highly recommended in advance.
Ps. Events may be subject to change. **This month we have SO many events – check out my Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festivals posts as well. I did not include those same events here!**
