One of the first things to do for a Walt Disney World trip with kids – pack! Read on for 5 things to pack for Disney World with kids!

Ponchos! This is #1. I can’t tell you how many days have had a completely clear forecast at Disney World and yet ended up with torrential rain. I don’t know how or why, I just know that every member of your group needs a poncho! These Disney ones are fun. Note: the links on this page are affiliate Amazon links.
Water-proof shoes. I generally wear sneakers to the park but my rubber Birkenstocks are always below the stroller! When it started to pour on our last visit, I quickly changed into my Birkenstocks. A few hours later, I changed back into my (dry!) sneakers. Make sure you have a plastic bag or grocery bag in your stroller to keep those sneakers dry. My kids love Natives so those are their current park shoes – they work rain or shine for us.
Sunscreen sticks. I bring a bottle of sunscreen (or order in Orlando through Instacart) but sunscreen sticks are quick and easy – especially for kid faces and for reapplying on the go. They also don’t count against your TSA liquid allowance.
Lollipops! Ears can’t pop on the plane? Have a lollipop. Need some entertainment in line? Lollipop. Something to hold you over to lunch? You get the idea. Small, and easy to stash in a crossbody!
Sound machine. If kids don’t sleep well, no one sleeps well! I bring our favorite portable sound machines, they help mask hotel noises and the sounds of fireworks after dark.
