A Very Merry Teddy Bear Tea at St. Regis Houston

December 13, 2022 by Lindsay

Teddy Bear Tea at the St. Regis is a Houston holiday tradition! Read on for all about this very merry party for littles.

We are so lucky our good friends invited us to join them at the famous Teddy Bear Tea at the St. Regis! The tea actually sells out very quickly. In October many dates were still available, but by mid-November only a few were left! If you are interested, make sure to mark you calendar for early fall 2023 to book!

It was our first time attending the tea and we had the best time. We weren’t sure what to expect! Here is what it was like:

🧸 We had a 2pm tea time and the party lasts 2-4pm. A morning tea party is held from 10am-12pm.
🧸 When you arrive, you receive a gift bag (with a St. Regis teddy inside) and table assignment. Adults are served a traditional tea at the table – an assortment of tea sandwiches, scones, and little desserts – with tea. Champagne and adult beverages are also available for an additional fee.
🧸 The kids are set up around smaller tables and serve themselves from a buffet of kid-friendly tea sandwiches, cookies, candy and fruit. Hot chocolate is also served, or lemonade.
🧸 There are tons of photo ops, face painting and a few characters (Cinderella and a teddy) greeting you. Also balloon animals!
🧸 Around 2:30, the puppet show begins and the kids go to a different room for that (adults too!). After the puppet show, the kids head go to the lobby for a magic show. After that, cookie decorating and hanging out. At the end, they can have more treats, dance the limbo, and play with their friends before departing!
🧸 It is encouraged to bring a teddy to donate to the Houston Area Women’s Shelter.

Have you been to the Teddy Bear Tea? It was so cute! I would say best for ages 3-10, and it was equally enjoyed by boys and girls.
