Loveeee a shady park all year round but especially right now in the summer! Read on to find out more about this beautiful and shaded playground at Hedwig Park.

We love Hedwig Park, located in Hedwig Village (one of the Memorial Villages), for its beautiful big trees, lots of shade, and a big variety of play areas suitable for both little kids as well as big kids. They have cute set-ups like a play firetruck, slides and climbing for littles, as well as climbing equipment and bigger playgrounds for older children. There are also a variety of picnic tables, and lots of benches scattered throughout for grown-ups to have a (shaded!) seat.
A huge bonus is that Hedwig Park is right next to the Spring Branch Memorial Branch Library! We played in the park and then when we got hot, we headed to the library. Spring Branch Memorial Library is a member of the Harris County Public Library system, so don’t forget to bring along your library card. We enjoyed reading their books, but they also have quite a few toys and games and a space-themed children’s area (as well as air conditioning and restrooms, of course!).

Have you been to Hedwig Park this summer? It is physically located at📍930 Corbindale, Houston, TX
