We were lucky enough to be hosted by Dig World for a visit, and I’m pretty sure dude is ready to move right in! He had an awesome time. This was our first visit, and will definitely not be our last. I even got to drive a skid steer, although my technique could use some work! I think dude’s favorite part was helping his dad dig with the excavator. My girl’s fave was the playground!

🚧 Dig World is generally open Saturdays 9am-5pm and Sundays 11am-5pm. They will also be open on President’s Day and during Spring Break! Be sure to check their website for up to date hours. Tickets are sold for 2 hour time slots (i.e. a 10am ticket is for 10am-12pm).
🚧 Dig World is mostly outdoors and uncovered. Be sure to dress for the weather and particularly for sunny or hot days!
🚧 Dig World has both stationary equipment to sit on (my guy loved climbing in and out and making believe with them) as well as the moving, working equipment. Everything is in its own spot – excavators stay in one spot, skid steers in their area, etc. For the excavators, skid steers, and other equipment, there are height requirements to ride with adults and (higher) height requirements to go solo.
🚧 There is also a playground, a big shaded pavilion with tables, construction toys and sand pits, a “gem mining” station, and a concession stand.
🚧 If you have a construction lover, the gift shop is great (and dangerous)! It includes the super high quality Bruder brand of toy vehicles (dude received Bruder trucks for Christmas the past two years) and cool construction play kits from Houston-based Young, Wild & Friedman.
🚧 They told me that generally the best times to avoid lines are to come right at opening, and also later in the afternoon during nap time (if your kids don’t nap).
🚧 Parking is plentiful and free!
Thank you so much for having us, Dig World!! Have you been out to Dig World yet?
