Houston has so many fun pumpkin patches! We headed to Blessington Farms in Simonton to check out their patch and activities.

One of the coolest aspects of Blessington Farms is that their fall festival will run all the way until November 20 – so families have plenty of time to enjoy it all through the fall. Almost all activities are included with admission (as opposed to some pumpkin patches where rides or games charge a separate fee). Admission is $24/person over 2 years old.
Blessington has SO many active things to do, perfect if you have kids with lots of energy! From giant tricycles to a ropes course, a hay loft, slide “mountain” and more, kids have many options for play. In addition, there are farm animals to pet, a hay ride, a barrel train ride, exotic animals, and a lot more. Photo ops are set up all throughout the pumpkin patch and there are many to choose from.

Food options are available although somewhat limited, so please keep that in mind. I also noticed a number of bees on site. While a non-issue for us (and we have no allergy to bees), if you do have allergies in your family I would call ahead and check if any bees are still around! Ps. Now, as we get closer to Halloween, the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch are on sale, too.
Blessington Farms is located at 510 Chisholm Trail, Wallis, TX 77485. Check their website before you head out, as the website is updated if they close due to bad weather or if they have extended opening days or hours.
