The weather is finally getting nice again! If you are looking for an easy way to get out into nature with littles, we love the Houston Arboretum with kids.

I’m sure you know all about the Houston Arboretum‘s awesome trails. A wonderful way to explore nature right in the middle of Houston! AND if you haven’t been to the Houston Arboretum with kids in a while, you should also be sure to check out their awesome Nature Playscape and Discovery Room. The Nature Playscape has many different playground areas for kids of all ages, all set in a true nature setting. It is super cool! Ps. they also have sinks to wash off any dirt and available restrooms.

🔍 The Discovery Room is packed with activities, books, small (live!) animals and more – a true interactive experience. You can also pick up trail guides, scavenger hunts, and more info to make your visit outside more interactive! This is also a great place to visit if it is hot or cold out, to take a break. The Discovery Room is inside the Nature Center, and it is open 9am-4pm daily.
