Pumpkin patches are starting to open across the Houston area (and after this hot summer, I have never been so happy to see pumpkins). Here is a helpful cheat sheet of Houston’s pumpkin patches!
I also included two easy in-town pumpkin patches that are absolutely free. These are great for families in a busy season of life or are pinched for time – you can still get cute pictures and make those fun fall memories without driving to a farm!
Ps. If you are a veteran, first responder, senior, or a teacher, check the website of the Pumpkin Patch you are interested in. I noticed many discounts.
🎃 Dewberry Farm – Sept 16 – Nov 12. Mostly weekends (some Fridays). General admission $34.95 for ages 2+.
🎃 Old MacDonald’s Farm – Sept 16 – Oct 31, open daily (year round! These are the pumpkin patch dates). $18.65/person ages 18M+, free pumpkin for kids (no online tickets), most activities included
🎃 Froberg’s Farm – Sept 23 – Nov 5 on weekends (the Farm is open daily, and some things are available on the weekdays too, but the full fall festival experience is weekends!). $12/person ages 3+, many activities have a separate fee
🎃 Blessington Farms – Sept 23 – Nov 19 (weekends). General admission $28.64 for ages 2+, most activities included
🎃 Oil Ranch – Oct 1 – 29 on weekends, plus Fridays. $23.95 for weekends for ages 3+, most activities included and each child gets to pick a free pumpkin
🎃P-6 Farms – Sept 30 – Nov 5 on weekends. $17.95/person ages 3+ (*preseason price! after the sale, $24.95). Online tickets only. *preseason tickets on sale at a discount starting Sept 18*, most activities included
🎃 Old Time Christmas Tree Farm – Sept 30 – Oct 29, open weekends + Friday nights. $10/person ages 2+, some activities have a separate fee
🎃 St. Luke’s United Methodist Church – Oct 1 – 31, open everyday. Free admission. 3471 Westheimer
🎃 Memorial Drive United Methodist Church – Oct 1 – 31, open everyday. Free admission. 12955 Memorial Drive
