We were lucky enough to be hosted by Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe | Houston last week! We had an absolute blast and the resort far exceeded expectations. Lake Conroe is only about an hour north of Houston, but this tropical-inspired resort really feels like you’ve escaped to the islands!
First, Margaritaville is SUPER kid friendly. Every hotel room is a suite with a sitting room separate from the bedroom, which is amazing for families! Each room also has a patio or balcony, and a mini fridge – ideal for milk and kid snacks. If you need more space, you can choose to rent a Lake Cottage, which are right along the lake and offer even more room!
Margaritaville has a large pool area, including two zero-entry kids pools in the Jolly Mon Water Park area, a lazy river, and even huge water slides for bigger kids! You will also find adults-only pools. In addition, Margaritaville offers mini golf, an arcade, boating, golf, a spa, tennis, and more. There are multiple restaurants on site including the waterfront LandShark Bar & Grill, plus a grab and go casual cafe with an extensive selection, and even pool-side dining. The lakeside views are just gorgeous, too. Upon check-in the Resort will let you know all the special activities going on during your stay!
