Fun Forest Themed Playground in Missouri City

MacNaughton Park in Missouri City, just south of Houston, has an adorable forest themed playground! And spring is a perfect time to visit before this mostly unshaded playground gets too warm for the summer.

MacNaughton Park is really cool! The forest theming has many fun touches, plus lots of slides and interactive components. This playground is bigger than it seems with tons of play areas in the structure, plus a big swing set area nearby. (The swing set area however is fully sunny, and is separate from the playground.) The playground area is not fenced, so you will want to be sure to keep an eye on kiddos.

The playground does have a turf playground floor – no wood chips in your shoes! The playground also has a public restroom and water fountain close by (yay!).  Several shaded pavilions next to the playground offer a cool place to rest, have a picnic, or take a break. Parking is really easy and free: either park in the small lot or on the residential streets.
