Coolest Halloween Restaurant in Houston

October 27, 2023 by Lindsay

I love a good theme – and this amazing Halloween “Trick or Treat” menu is SO cool!

At McHugh Tea, you can reserve a Halloween-themed tea! While some prefer their tea as an “afternoon tea,” we did it as a lunch and the kids LOVED.

Some of the treats and eats:
☠️ Pumpkin, skeleton, and coffin-shaped tea sandwiches (chicken salad, cucumber, and pimento cheese – and they did make some specially for the kids with PB&J, turkey and cheese, & ham and cheese)
🍎🎃 Seasonal scones: pumpkin and carmel apple. These were my FAVE!
🧛🧟‍♀️ Special desserts: pumpkin meringues, monster brownies, Oreo spider shortbreads, and blood red velvet cupcakes
My kids also enjoyed some of the herbal tea (we picked a fruity one, and cooled with ice so it wasn’t too hot) and even got to pick out their own tea cups. I would also say this was a good chance to practice good table manners, since there are breakable cups and plates!

Trick or Treat Tea is available through October 31, and you must make reservations ahead (they prefer at least 24 hours notice I think). $44/person and let them know if you have kids – they will give you the kid sandwich options!

📍 5305 Bissonnet St, Suite D, Bellaire, TX
☎️ 713.218.6300

We loved this awesome Halloween-themed tea menu! Let me know if you have done this one yet!
