Have you visited these hidden gems in Humble?

Mercer Botanic Gardens in Humble is an amazing place for kids: easy trails and beautiful flowers covering 60 acres! They also have lots of programming both from the garden and the Baldwin Boettcher Harris County public library branch next door (it is currently under going construction but they have a temporary space and regular library programming!). Programs include kids’ story times, music in the gardens, and more.
If that wasn’t enough, pop across the road and you find yourself at the Mercer Arboretum! It’s magical: deer hop across the road and the cypress swamp is stunning. Lots of trails to hike and a big playground area, too! You really feel like you are a world away right off a busy road in Humble.

Both the Gardens and the Arboretum are totally free to visit and their summer hours (the current hours) are 8am-7pm.
