Old MacDonald’s Farm, in Humble near Bush Intercontinental Airport, is one of Houston’s cutest pumpkin patches!

Old MacDonald’s Farm is so unique in Houston in that it has SO many farm animals on property – most of which kids can pet and feed. Sheep, goats, chickens, llamas, pigs, cows, and more! There are also pony rides for children.
For fall, the Farm is also operating a pumpkin patch. The patch has lots of cute photo ops, and every child receives a FREE pumpkin with their admission fee! My dude really enjoyed browsing to pick his perfect pumpkin.
Of course, the highlight for the dude was the train. There is a cute silver train that goes all around the property – and it actually goes pretty fast! He had a blast. There are also several large playgrounds and lots of (shaded!) picnic tables.
Old MacDonald’s Farm is open 7 days a week. Admission is $16.80 plus tax for everyone over 18 months, and includes a free pumpkin for kids. There are military and senior citizen discounts. Additional pumpkins may be purchased, too! If visiting the pumpkin patch on a weekday afternoon after 1pm, be sure to ask for the special 20% discount on admission. The pumpkin patch will run through October 30.
