With the weather finally turning nice again, I needed to share some fun outdoor options! Late winter and early spring is such a great time for Houston and to be outside.
The Barbara Fish Daniels Nature Play Area is built right into the hillside along Buffalo Bayou, and uses the height to its advantage – the 33 foot slides are amazing! We also love the wooden steps, the three-level boat play area, and the best views of the bayou and the city. You will also find water play areas, easily accessible restrooms, and more!
Perfect for slightly older kids due to the stairs and multi-level aspects (age 4 is great) although like anything you can make it fun for the littles too!
We parked in the free lot near the Cistern, and there is metered street parking as well. Have you been by this park?
