Looking for a jaw-some good time this summer? The new Sharks! exhibit has officially opened at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

Sharks! is a very cool, immersive experience. Feeling like you have dived underwater and swum through a coral reef, a virtual “shark tank” is the first thing you see when you walk in!
You will learn about both modern and prehistoric sharks – including an incredible 50 foot model of a megalodon! The digital games in the exhibit are also very cool and interactive, with options for how many people can play at once so families or friends can play at the same time. There are also fun photo ops around the exhibit space.
Every visitor gets to pick a shark tooth, and then identify which shark it came from with the help of experts. And before you leave, you can even visit a touch tank to touch a real shark! There are bamboo and epaulette sharks, stingrays, and a variety of aquatic invertebrates, including sea urchins, to interact with while learning about the ongoing conservation efforts to help sharks and ocean life.
The exhibit is open to members on May 26, and to everyone starting May 27. To learn more about the Sharks! exhibit and tickets, click here.
