Katy Mills seems to be adding new kid-friendly attractions all the time and Slick City just opened in December in Katy. Read on for all the details about this brand new sliding park open in Katy!

We waited for the holiday break crowds to lessen at Slick City Katy and then paid it a visit in January! Here are the details about this brand new sliding park:
- Park and enter at Door 8 at Katy Mills, they do have outdoor signage so it’s easy to spot. Parking is free.
- Tickets are timed entry and are good for 90 or 120 minutes. We chose the 90 minutes but my 5 year old would have liked the 120 I think!
- Tickets vary by time and age. 90 minutes for ages 4+ is $26. For little kids (under 4), tickets are $14. Book online to secure your spot if it’s a busy day.
- Everyone must have a pair of Slick City socks – they cost $5. You can reuse on future visits but you can’t wear any other brand of grippy socks.
- Adults do not need to buy a ticket if not sliding! This is huge, tbh. But if you have a younger child – like 4 or 5 – they may need some assistance from a parent or older kid carrying their little sliding mat up to the slides. To get to the slides, you climb up 1-2 flights of stairs so kids on the smaller side may need help.
- There are 10 working slides, and one more on the way.
- The small kid playground is nice but I would only use for a smaller sibling tagging along with a bigger sibling
- They have a cafe and restrooms available. They also have lockers if you want to store your belongings and go sliding too
- Everyone uses a mat to slide down the slides (sort of like a sledding idea)
- The go-kart area is pretty small and is for ages 6+
Have you been to Slick City yet at Katy Mills Mall?
