Every few months the fantastic Houston Museum of Natural Science – Sugar Land location has a new exhibit and it’s always on our to-do list to go check it out! The new, interactive exhibit “Water’s Extreme Journey” just opened!

A great indoor activity, you “transform” into a water drop and go through a maze as you explore “Water’s Extreme Journey.” Several interactive activities and tons of learning opportunities as you progress in the maze! Solve puzzles, ride the zip line, dodge pollution, and more. The maze also has several different routes, which was fun, and more interesting too.
This is a 20-40 minute activity, depending on your kid. I think we spent around 30 minutes and then we explored other exhibits at the museum.
HMNS Sugar Land is free for HMNS members. Special exhibits, like this, cost $5 extra. (So for a member, it costs $5. For non-members, it is the price of admission + $5.)
Parking is free and easy. LOVE that about the Sugar Land location!
🕰️ HMNS Sugar Land is open Thursday – Sunday 10am-5pm. (Their hours can/often do change during summer and holidays.)
